For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

IESCO is reconductoring a 132 kV transmission line between two substations at a contract value of approximately Rs.

15.4 million. This is a specialized electrical infrastructure project requiring PEC registration and previous transmission line experience. The September 2026 deadline suggests a project with moderate urgency. Bidders should verify current IESCO blacklist status and prepare comprehensive past-project documentation, financial statements, and key personnel CVs. Single-stage bidding means technical and financial proposals submit simultaneously—weak pricing or documentation weaknesses eliminate bids immediately.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid PEC registration in the electrical/transmission works category, current NTN and GST registration with FBR, and demonstrate prior experience in transmission line reconductoring projects. Typically, contractors are required to provide proof of technical qualifications, no suspension or debarment history, and adequate financial capacity equivalent to a percentage of contract value.
