For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Marine lifting and vessel cradle services contract for a single pilot boat operation at Port Qasim Karachi.
Scope appears small to medium, focused on one-time mobilization rather than ongoing services. Notable feature is tight two-day submission window (September 8 to 10, 2026) with same-day bid opening, limiting preparation time. Requires EPADS v2.0 registration—unregistered bidders cannot participate. No detailed technical specifications or equipment requirements visible in notice, suggesting these appear in full e-documents. Negotiated tender format indicates procurement has narrowed scope or pre-identified capability parameters.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate; manual submissions rejected. The notice does not specify NTN, SECP registration, or PEC category requirements. Typically, marine services and lifting operations contractors are expected to hold relevant safety certifications, equipment ownership proof, and experience documentation, though exact criteria must be verified in full e-bidding documents.
