Description / Scope of Work
Abbottabad University of Science & Technology invites sealed bids from reputable contractors, firms and individuals for the management and operation of two food service facilities: the Main Canteen and Boys Hostel Mess. The tender is issued under a single-stage, two-envelope bidding procedure and will be conducted through the KP-EPADS online portal. Bidders must be Pakistani CNIC holders and registered on the active taxpayer lists of both the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA). The procurement is located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Eligibility is restricted to active tax-paying Pakistani nationals and firms. Bidders are required to submit a Cash Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favour of the Treasurer AUST along with their sealed tender documentation. The tender document itself costs Rs. 2,000 as non-refundable stationery charges, payable in the form of a bank challan or receipt to the Treasurer. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Procurement Finance Office during working hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) on working days, or downloaded from the KPPRA website and the university website at www.aust.edu.pk.
All sealed bids along with the CDR must be submitted to the Procurement Section, Abbottabad University of Science & Technology, Captain Akash Rabbani Shaheed Road, Havelian-Abbottabad, by 11:00 am on or before 24 September 2026. Tender opening will take place at 11:30 am on the same date in the meeting room of the Vice Chancellor's office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
