The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation invites sealed bids for the turnkey supply, installation, commissioning, and comprehensive refurbishment of fire fighting vehicles mounted on 17 Hino/Isuzu chassis for the Fire Brigade Department, Karachi. The tender covers mechanical, structural, and fire-fighting systems design and fabrication, including complete chassis overhaul, superstructure fabrication, and provision of all consumables, spares, and equipment necessary for operational revival of KMC's firefighting fleet. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the ePADS SPPRA portal at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk. The deadline for submission of bids is 23 September 2026 up to 03:00 p.m., with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 03:30 p.m. at the office of the Director, Contract Management Wing, KMC. A pre-bid meeting if required shall be held on 17 September 2026 at 03:00 p.m. at the same venue to address queries. Bid validity period is 90 days from the date of bid opening. If no bids are received by the stated deadline, submission and opening will be rescheduled to 08 October 2026 at the same time and venue. Bidders must ensure bids are substantially advantageous and responsive, meeting all prescribed eligibility and technical evaluation criteria. Only substantially advantageous bids shall be considered for financial evaluation, and the Bid Security of disqualified or non-responsive bidders shall be returned upon approval by KMC.
