Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites encrypted electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for concrete lining of irrigation ditches (1R/2R/DB) along a 365-day completion schedule in the Bahawalpur Canal Division, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 126,396,292 (excluding PST) with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 3,791,889 representing 3 percent of the estimated value. The work involves lining ditches from Rd:12+000 to Rd:46+200 (Tail section) and is located within the Bahawalpur irrigation zone. All bids must be submitted electronically through the e-PADS portal in compliance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal system guidelines.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the e-PADS Punjab portal (https://eprocedure.gov.pk) and maintain valid registration or license with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-2 or above for the financial year FY 2026-27. Bid security equivalent to 3 percent of the estimated cost must be furnished as a Bank Guarantee or financial instrument issued and processed through the Bank of Punjab (BOP) in accordance with applicable PPRA rules and the Service Level Agreement between PPRA and BOP. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring that electronically submitted files are free from viruses, malware, or malicious code. Conditional and incomplete bids will be rejected as non-responsive.

E-bids must be submitted by 02.00 PM on 24 September 2026, with opening scheduled for the same date at 02:30 PM at the Committee Room, Bahawalpur Irrigation Zone through e-PADS.
