Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Buildings Department, Central Zone, Lahore invites pre-qualification applications from eligible contractors for the establishment of a hostel facility for women scientists working at Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) and Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) in Lahore. The project, registered as ADP No. 3153/2026-27, carries an estimated cost of Rs. 1,851.117 million and aims to provide safe, secure and purpose-built residential accommodation along with modern allied facilities including dining areas, common spaces and recreational amenities for female scientists. The scheme was approved by the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on 17 June 2026 and incorporated into the Annual Development Program 2026-27.
Pre-qualification criteria and evaluation benchmarks are detailed in Section III of this document, including technical and financial eligibility requirements, experience in similar construction projects, and organisational capacity. Applicants must possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration and relevant professional licenses as prescribed by the Punjab Buildings Department. Bid security and performance guarantees shall be determined at the detailed bidding stage in accordance with applicable procurement regulations.
