Description / Scope of Work
A public sector organization invites sealed tenders for the construction of a Chemical Reagent Warehouse and Repair Workshop for Electric Instruments near Chashma in Mianwali, Punjab. The estimated cost of the work is PKR 730.835 million. The tender is open to bidders who are security wise cleared, enlisted and prequalified with the department. This is a significant infrastructure project in the Mianwali region focused on establishing specialized storage and maintenance facilities for chemical reagents and electrical instruments.
Bidders must possess valid security clearance and departmental prequalification status to participate. Bid security of 1% in the form of CDR or bank guarantee from scheduled banks of Pakistan is mandatory. If a bank guarantee is submitted, it must have an expiry date of at least six months from the bid opening date. The tender will follow a single stage, one envelope procedure of open competitive bidding. All bids will be opened and evaluated according to criteria prescribed in the bidding document, with the tender evaluation committee reserving the right to demand analysis of quoted rates to verify reasonability and viability.
Tender documents may be obtained during working hours from 0900 to 1500 on weekdays from the office of the Director Contracts. Issuance of tender documents closes one day before the bid opening date. Bids must be submitted by 1130 hours on 29 September 2026, with opening scheduled for 1200 hours the same day. Tender documents will not be issued or accepted by post, courier or telegraphic means.
