Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Sehwan Sharif invites sealed bids for the repair and rehabilitation of water supply lines comprising polyethylene (PE) pipes of 8 inch, 6 inch, 4 inch and 3 inch diameter across all 15 wards of Sehwan Sharif, located in District Jamshoro, Sindh province. This scheme (Scheme No. 1) is a public infrastructure maintenance project tendered under the Standard Bidding Document for works contracts costing up to Rs 3.0 million, following admeasurement contract principles with unit rates and scheduled item quantities. The project scope covers measurement, repair and replacement of deteriorated water distribution pipelines serving the municipal area. The Notice Inviting Tender (NIT No. MCS/993) was issued on 15 September 2026 and published through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
Bidders must hold a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and meet standard contractor eligibility criteria as prescribed by PPRA Sindh. Bid security is required in either lump sum or percentage of estimated cost as specified in the bidding documents. Tenders must be submitted on the prescribed printed form, stating a single percentage rate above or below the bill of quantities scheduled rates for all items, with quotations for any market-rate-based items included separately. Conditional bids containing alternatives to specified work scope or duration, or any non-standard conditions, are liable to rejection.

Sealed tender envelopes must clearly identify the work name and NIT number. Tender opening will occur at the prescribed date and time at the office of the Chief Municipal Officer. All work will be measured by standard instruments according to established rules. Bid prices are fixed for the contract duration with no entitlement to claim enhanced rates for any item.
