The District Council Dadu invites open-outcry auction for Occupancy Value and monthly rent of five commercial restaurant units under construction at Bilawal Arcade opposite Gymkhana in Dadu, Sindh. The auction is conducted in pursuance of the Sindh Local Councils (Property) Rules 2017, Sindh Local Council (Contract) Rules 2016, and the Sindh Public Procurement Rules. Each unit is 806 square feet with initial bid value of Rs. 7,000 per square foot, representing a total occupancy value of Rs. 5,642,000 per unit. The auction addresses remaining units at this commercial development located in Dadu city.
Eligible participants must be individuals, parties, or firms with legal capacity, holding valid CNIC and NTN or business registration proof with active tax filing status. Bid security of 5% of the offered occupancy value per unit is required via pay order, demand draft, deposit-at-call, or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in favour of the Chairman District Council Dadu. Fifty percent of the occupancy value, exclusive of bid security, must be paid on the spot at the time of auction, with the remaining 50% payable within two months by pay order from the bidder's own bank account. No possession is granted until 100% payment is received.
The open auction will be held on 7 October 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the District Council Office Dadu. Restaurant layout plans, drawings, and restricted business details are available at the Office of the Taxation Officer, District Council Dadu during office hours. Monthly rent is fixed at 0.30% of the auctioned occupancy value payable by the 5th of each month from the date of possession. All applicable taxes, levies, documentation charges, and utility connection charges are the responsibility of the successful bidder. The District Council reserves the right to cancel the auction at any time without assigning reason.
