Mango Research Institute Multan invites e-bids for the supply of mango germplasm comprising 13 varieties with 20 plants of each variety, totaling 260 plants. The procurement is funded under the ADP scheme entitled Productivity Enhancement in Mango Sector of Punjab, with an estimated cost of PKR 10,407,000. This national competitive bidding exercise is open to all eligible bidders and aims to support germplasm development and productivity enhancement initiatives in Punjab's mango sector. The procuring agency is located at the Agriculture Complex, Old Shujabad Road, Multan.
Bidders must be authorized dealers or general order suppliers registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System and must hold valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates. Bid security of 5 percent of the estimated cost, equivalent to PKR 520,350, must be submitted online exclusively through Bank of the Punjab. The bidding will be conducted under open competitive bidding, single-stage, two-envelope procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended). No physical financial instruments such as CDRs or bank guarantees will be accepted; all submissions must be made through the designated online portal only.
Complete bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login) on or before Tuesday, October 06, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM at the Principal Scientist's office in Multan in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bidders must submit best and final prices inclusive of all applicable taxes, as no negotiations will be conducted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder. Incomplete bids or those submitted through modes other than the specified e-Procurement platform will be rejected.
