Description / Scope of Work
The District Education Authority Rahim Yar Khan invites sealed bids from Income Tax and Sales Tax registered firms for the procurement of dietary items to be supplied to resident students at three taken-over madaris in District Rahim Yar Khan for the financial year 2026-27. The scope covers daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly supply of food items to Jamia Alqadsia (150 students), Jamia Umm-ul-Quraa (20 students), and Jamia Rahmania Khanpur (35 students), with an estimated total cost of Rs. 1,125,000. This is a framework contract under PPRA Rules 2014 with approved rates valid until June 30, 2027, and delivery must be made directly to the madrasa premises in Rahim Yar Khan.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound, not defaulters or blacklisted, and hold active General Sales Tax (GST) and Income Tax registration certificates. Bidders are required to submit 2% Earnest Money (Rs. 22,500) as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank, along with bank statements for the previous 12 months, proof of income tax and sales tax returns for 2024-25 or 2025-26, and a stamp paper affidavit (Rs. 200) confirming they are not disqualified, blacklisted or involved in litigation. Performance security of 3% is payable prior to issuance of the supply order. All quoted rates must be inclusive of applicable government taxes (GST, Income Tax, etc.) and based on free delivery to the consignee's premises.
Tender forms are available free of cost for download from the PPRA website and https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ before October 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Online submissions close on the same date at 11:00 AM with bid opening at 11:30 AM at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, near Govt. Pilot Secondary School, Rahim Yar Khan (contact: 068-9230044). All procurements will be conducted strictly in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all tenders prior to approval and to cancel any tender or supply order prior to issuance.
