Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Prisons Department, Government of the Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of dietary articles for the financial year 2026-27 under Single Stage Two Envelopes procedure. The procurement includes wheat (5000 kilograms), tomatoes (8000 kilograms), rice (12000 kilograms), and lentils (60000 kilograms) with an estimated total value of PKR 4,971,000. The goods are required for supply to Central Jail, Rawalpindi, located on Main Adyala Road, Rawalpindi. Delivery and installation of the procured items must be completed as per the timeline specified in the Bid Data Sheet.
Eligible bidders include associations of firms, companies, sole proprietors, suppliers, authorized dealers, authorized distributors, and general order suppliers registered with relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Departments (Income Tax and Sales Tax) and E-Procurement Punjab portal of PPRA. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or PPRA, and government-owned enterprises must be duly authorized by competent authorities. A Performance Guarantee of 2 percent of contract value as Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is required from successful bidders.
