The Department of Agriculture, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids for the auction of fruits from the Government Fruit Nursery Farm located in Haripur. The procurement comprises 163 bearing Malta plants of various varieties including Blood Red (67 plants), Succri (47 plants), Washington Nawel (5 plants), Valencia (3 plants), Ruby Red (3 plants), Fruiter (2 plants), Musami (18 plants), and Grape Fruit (18 plants), along with 17 Hareer plants of unknown and very old variety. The auction will be held on 8 October 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Government Fruit Nursery Farm premises in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bidders are required to deposit a bid security of Rs. 50,000 (fifty thousand) in the name of the District Director Agriculture Haripur prior to participation. The fruits will be auctioned on an as-is-where-is basis without any warranty. Successful bidders must pay one-fourth of the bid amount along with applicable taxes on the spot or within three days of auction. The remaining balance must be deposited within fifteen days of the auction announcement, failing which the bid security will be forfeited and the lot will be re-auctioned. All bidders must comply with departmental rules and regulations.
Bid documents are available free of cost from the office of the undersigned on presentation of proper credentials. The successful bidder shall assume all responsibility for fruit preservation and maintenance after the auction. The department shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from natural calamities such as hail, rain, wind, or storms occurring after the auction. The authorized officer reserves the right to reject any or all bids with reasons stated.
