Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer C&W Division Swabi-II invites electronic bids from eligible firms and bidders for eight distinct construction and development projects in Swabi district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as per KPPRA procurement rules 2014 amended to 10-05-2022. The works include renovation and refurbishment of boundary walls at multiple locations, construction of roads and play grounds, establishment of recreational facilities on irrigation land, and supply of flood lighting equipment. Project costs range from approximately PKR 8.9 million to PKR 64.5 million, with engineer's estimates and bid securities specified individually for each work. Several projects are funded through Tobacco Cess allocation for tobacco-growing regions. Bidders must comply with all mandatory requirements outlined in the Bid Solicitation Documents available for download from https://kppra.gov.pk/.
All bids must be accompanied by tender fee at 0.03 percent and bid security at 2 percent of the engineer's estimate in original form submitted to the Executive Engineer C&W Division Swabi-II before the closing deadline. Bidders must quote rates electronically as Above/Below/At Par against the priced BOQ based on the applicable MRS rate. Incomplete, unsealed, or late bids will not be entertained. Bid validity is ninety days from submission date. Construction works require PEC registration in the relevant category as specified for each project, typically Category C5 or C6 depending on project scope and estimated cost.
Bid documents are available for download from the KPPRA portal at https://kppra.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted electronically via the EPAD system before 10:00 AM on 13-10-2026. Financial bids will be opened at 10:30 AM on the same date. Bidders may visit the office of the undersigned on working days for clarification on any ambiguity regarding the bidding process.
