Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, invites sealed bids from eligible, experienced and financially sound private firms, companies, consortiums or joint ventures for the provision of comprehensive solid waste management services in Bagh City under the Single Stage-Two Envelope Procedure of the AJ&K Public Procurement Rules. The contract encompasses all 15 wards of Bagh and includes door-to-door waste collection, street sweeping, collection from communal points, transportation of solid waste, cleaning of roads, markets and public places, operation of waste collection systems, provision of manpower and vehicles, complaint redressal, awareness raising and environment-friendly disposal of municipal solid waste for an initial period of five years. The bid security is Rs. 10.00 million.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-1, the Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) / AJK-CBR with active Tax Payer List status. Applicants must demonstrate at least five years of overall experience and possess relevant experience in municipal solid waste management, sanitation, waste collection and transportation through one or two contract projects successfully executed or currently in hand. Bidders must furnish adequate manpower, vehicles, machinery, equipment and financial capacity for effective implementation.
Complete bidding documents are available from the Municipal Corporation Bagh office during office hours until 12 October 2026 for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately and sealed by 12:00 PM on 19 October 2026, with opening scheduled for 12:30 PM the same day. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 08 October 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Municipal Corporation Office.
