Federal Board of Revenue is procuring routine supplies and janitorial services for its Karachi tax office through competitive tender closing 13 October 2026.
The scope spans multiple item categories (stationery, consumables, furniture, fixtures and maintenance services) with sample approval required at bid opening. Bidders face a demanding compliance burden: tax registration, non-blacklist affidavit and earnest money at 5% of bid value. Quality assurance is strict—defective items must be replaced at bidder cost within one week, with warranty periods tied to manufacturer specifications. This appears to be a recurring annual supplies contract typical of large government operations.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities, hold valid EOBI and SESSI certificates, and provide non-blacklist affidavit. Active taxpayer status is required. Typically, suppliers of office consumables and janitorial services should hold relevant trade licenses and demonstrate two years' experience in similar supply contracts to government entities.
