For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a straightforward procurement of uniforms for special needs students—a modest Rs 1.3 million contract likely covering approximately 100–150 students across both genders and seasons.
The tender uses the two-envelope system with technical evaluation before financial bid opening, which is standard for PPRA Punjab. Key considerations: the bid security deposit is mandatory (5% upfront) and must be electronic; successful bidders face an additional 10% performance guarantee requirement. The 30-minute window between submission and opening (10:00 to 10:30 AM) allows little margin for error. This appears to be a one-time seasonal supply, not a framework agreement, making it suitable for suppliers with garment manufacturing or wholesale distribution experience.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities; firms blacklisted or debarred by PPRA Punjab are ineligible. Typically, uniform suppliers should hold relevant business registration and proof of GST/FBR compliance. No specific PEC grade or professional qualification is mentioned, though those with prior school supply contracts or quality certifications would be advantaged.
