Punjab Highways Department invites sealed bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the provision of solar lights in District Vehari under the e-Procurement System. Bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally through the e-Procurement System in favour of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Vehari. Performance security at 10 percent of the contract amount will be required from the lowest evaluated bidder, submitted digitally after contract award.
Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts for each item as well as grand totals in financial proposals. Rates quoted at or above 5 percent above or below estimated or DNIT cost will be considered non-responsive and rejected. Bid documents and performance guarantees must be submitted electronically only. Contractor claims for work completed will be processed through Digital Measurement Books. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance. Rigid pavement and RCC drain work shall use concrete batching plants and mechanized paving machines; TST, DST, and surfacing must be executed by mechanized systems.
