Description / Scope of Work
The Govt. Institute of Leather Technology (GILT), Gujranwala, operating under the Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority of Punjab, invites bids for the procurement of training material for Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) and other courses. The procurement is being conducted under a single stage one envelope procedure in accordance with prevailing Pakistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules. The estimated contract value is Rs. 1,454,000, with the materials to be supplied to GILT's campus located opposite NADRA Office, G.T. Road, Gujranwala. This is a supplies procurement intended to support vocational and technical training delivery across multiple course programs at the institute.
Eligible bidders must be registered for income tax (NTN) and sales tax (GST) with relevant government bodies and must provide attested copies of active NTN and GST status at the time of bid submission. A refundable bid security of Rs. 72,700 (representing five percent of the estimated cost) must be submitted in the form of a Certified Cheque, Pay Order, or Demand Draft favoring the Project Director Office, Govt. Institute of Leather Technology, Gujranwala. The successful bidder will be required to deposit a performance guarantee of ten percent of the total contract amount within seven days of contract award. All government taxes, transportation charges, and installation charges must be borne by the contractor and included in quoted rates.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA Punjab website at https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and via the E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the E-Procurement System by 20 October 2026 at 10:00 AM; bids submitted by any other means will not be entertained. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 10:30 AM at the Project Director Office in the presence of the procurement committee and bidder representatives.
