Bahria University is procuring 75 AI-enabled desktop computer systems for its E-8 Islamabad campus innovation centre.
This is a substantial IT procurement using the federal EPADS platform under two-stage QCBS evaluation. The buyer permits equivalent systems from established OEMs, offering flexibility to qualified suppliers. A tight bidding window (less than three weeks from document issuance to closure) suggests urgent deployment requirements. Bidders should note the explicit emphasis on AI-enabled capabilities, indicating the university's focus on modern computing infrastructure.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and be established suppliers or authorized OEM distributors. Typically, bidders in IT goods procurement require valid SECP registration, active NTN status, and certificates of authorization from manufacturers. Previous experience supplying corporate or institutional IT systems is typically expected. No specific PEC category applies as this is goods procurement, not construction.
