Description / Scope of Work
Mardan Medical Complex–Medical Teaching Institution, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through the ePADS platform for the procurement of nineteen categories of supplies and services. The tender encompasses electrical items, sanitary ware, hardware and welding materials, painting supplies, housekeeping and laundry consumables, fumigation items, printing materials, disposable medical and non-medical items, information technology equipment, signage and panaflex, stationery, paper reams, general furniture, batteries, fire safety and security items, biomedical equipment maintenance and repair services, electrical cables, bedding clothing and uniforms, and refiling and recycling supplies. Bid security requirements range from Rs 100,000 to Rs 300,000 depending on category. The procurement follows the Framework Contract procedure under Rule 31-A of the KPPRA Rules 2014 and is conducted via single-stage, single-envelope bidding across multiple submission dates between 18 and 23 November 2026.
Bidders must submit typed tenders on original letterhead, signed and stamped on every page; handwritten bids are not acceptable and must strictly conform to hospital specifications without alternate rates. Original bid security in the form of bank drafts or pay orders, along with original stamp papers as specified, must accompany each bid submission. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Income Tax, stamp duty, General Sales Tax (GST), and other government taxes as per regulations. Bids must be submitted on or before the closing times specified for each category via the ePADS platform to Mardan Medical Complex–MTI Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Bid opening occurs thirty minutes after closure at the same venue. Successful bidders supplying substandard items or materials not matching hospital specifications will have their contracts cancelled automatically, with orders issued to the next qualified bidder. Approved rates will apply to MMC Mardan, Saidu Mohammand Bacha Badshah Teaching Hospital (SMBBCH), and Allied Colleges if required.
