Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab invites sealed electronic bids for the strengthening of weak reaches of the Minchin Flood Bund and various river training structures. This large-scale infrastructure project is situated in the Tehsils of Liaquatpur and Khanpur and carries an estimated civil work cost of approximately 760.999 million Rupees. The comprehensive scope of work includes extensive earthwork, shingle laying, and the construction of cross-drainage and ancillary structures. To be eligible for participation, interested firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the CE-04 category and have a proven track record of completing similar hydraulic or flood restoration projects worth at least 400 million Rupees within the last five years. Furthermore, bidders must demonstrate a minimum average annual construction turnover of 1,000 million Rupees and show net financial resources of at least 300 million Rupees. All proposals must be submitted through the EPADS Punjab portal with a bid security of 38.050 million Rupees. The final deadline for the electronic submission of technical and financial bids is set for 02:00 PM on 20 May 2026.
