Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for passive cabling work to support network infrastructure development at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The scope includes supply and installation of Cat 6 UTP cabling (1,300 feet), modular jacks (20 units), 24-port patch panels, cable managers, face plates, PVC pipes, channel ducts, patch cables, and associated networking accessories. Labour charges for cable laying with concealed piping and end-to-end ribbon tagging for 1,300 feet of Cat 6 cables, plus 9U rack mounting and harnessing are also required. All materials must be genuine and original from approved manufacturers including Corning brand products. Delivery location is Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi.
Quotations must be submitted by qualified vendors with mandatory Manufacturer Authorization Form (MAF) letters confirming supply of genuine products. GST and SST will be applied separately as per applicable rates. IBA reserves the right to inspect all materials upon delivery through its ICT department or stores division. Bidders must comply with all quality specifications; substandard items or work will not be accepted. IBA also reserves rights to split awards among multiple responsive bidders or reject quotations without assigning reasons.
Bid documents must be obtained from the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi (telephone: 0322-3553032, extension 2155). Quotations are to be submitted to the Purchase Department by 25 May 2026 at 12:00 PM. Payment will be made within 30 working days following delivery and invoice receipt via crossed cheque. Liquidity damages at 2% per month will apply to delayed deliveries. All government taxes, levies, and stamp duty (0.35% on goods value) will be charged as per applicable SRO rates and Purchase Order terms.
