Electricity Theft Materials Disposal

GEPCO is conducting an open public auction for the disposal of unserviceable materials confiscated in connection with electricity theft cases. The auction will be held on 10 June 2026 at 9:00 AM on an 'as is where is' basis at T&G Warehouse located at 132 KV Grid Station in Gujranwala, Punjab. The materials on offer include iron scrap panels, insulator structures, capacitors, aluminum cable scrap, meter relay scrap, ACSR scrap with clamps and cleats joints, copper scrap, tire scrap, and grid station battery lead scrap, with a combined estimated value exceeding four million rupees. The auction encompasses nine separate lots with quantities ranging from 20 kilograms to 70,000 kilograms.

Participating bidders must submit earnest money as specified in the tender document in the form of a bank guarantee or pay order issued in favour of GEPCO's Collection Miscellaneous account maintained at Allied Bank Limited, Gujranwala Branch. All bidders are required to quote their bid rates exclusive of taxes. The earnest money amount for each lot is clearly mentioned in the tender schedule, and submission of earnest money in prescribed form is mandatory before the closing date of 10 June 2026 at 9:00 AM.

Bid documents and detailed terms and conditions applicable to the auction can be obtained from the office of the Warehouse Manager at GEPCO's T&G Warehouse during office hours, or by contacting the Manager (MM) at GEPCO's headquarters in Gujranwala using the provided phone and fax numbers. GEPCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. In case of failure to complete the transaction within the specified timeline, the auction will be automatically cancelled and the earnest money will be forfeited.
