Description / Scope of Work
The Indent and Purchase Section, Karachi, under the Pakistan Meteorological Department, invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of machinery equipment including air conditioning units, dry batteries, cameras, network video recorders (NVR), water dispensers, and photocopiers. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 with reserved funds allocated for the purchase of these goods. The procurement will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 following the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procuring entity is located at Met. Complex, Gulistan-e-Johar, Block-5, University Road, in Karachi, Sindh Province, and the contract will be awarded using Single Stage-One Envelope methodology with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
All eligible bidders must submit their bids electronically through EPADS v2.0. Bidders are required to furnish bid security as described in the bidding document, either in the form of a pay order or a bid security declaration where not mandated by the procuring agency. Bidders must possess appropriate business registration and ensure compliance with all eligibility criteria outlined in the standard bidding document. The procurement follows transparent and competitive bidding procedures as per regulatory guidelines issued by the procurement authority.
Bidders must register themselves on EPADS v2.0 on or before Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM.
