Disposal of Scrap on As-Is-Where-Is Basis by IBA Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites sealed bids from scrap dealers, used items dealers, and individuals for the disposal of scrap on an as-is-where-is basis under Notice Invitation Tender reference DISP/03/25-26. This procurement is open to eligible bidders in relevant categories and will be conducted at the IBA Main Campus located in the University Enclave area of Karachi, Sindh province. The tender covers the sale of various scrap lots that may be inspected by interested parties during the designated viewing period.

Eligibility is open to scrap dealers, used items dealers, and individuals capable of meeting the tender requirements. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5 percent of the total bid cost in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft made in favor of IBA Karachi. The document fee for participating in this tender is Rs. 5,000, which must be paid via a fee challan generated from the IBA website and deposited at any Meezan Bank Ltd. branch. Bid documents may be collected from the Office of Head of Procurement at Fauji Foundation Building, IBA Main Campus, University Enclave, Karachi during working days (Monday to Friday), or alternatively downloaded from the IBA website.

Scrap lots may be visited from May 25, 2026 to June 09, 2026 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, excluding prayer and lunch breaks from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Sealed bids must be submitted at the security reception office located at Gate No. 4, IBA Main Campus, University Enclave, Karachi, by June 10, 2026 between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Bid opening will take place on June 10, 2026 at 3:30 PM at IBA Main Campus in the presence of bidders' representatives.
