Description / Scope of Work
Town Municipal Corporation Saddar, Karachi invites sealed tender bids under SPPRA Rule 2010 (Amended 2020) for execution of sixteen road improvement and maintenance works within Karachi, Sindh province. The scope includes rehabilitation of streets through paving block flooring, repair and maintenance of trenches and patches, lane marking and beautification works, and provision of fixing precast RCC slabs. Estimated project costs range from PKR 19,97,730 to PKR 29,99,190 with cumulative estimated value of approximately PKR 4.75 million. Works are distributed across various locations including Jinnah Colony, Himayatullah area, Liaquatabad, Huzai Quarters, and other localities in Karachi. Bid security is fixed at 5 percent of estimated amount per scheme, with tender cost ranging from PKR 2,000 to PKR 5,000.
Eligible contractors and firms must possess valid registration with relevant authorities and meet technical capacity requirements. Interested bidders must submit bid security as specified for each scheme. Tender documents must be obtained from the PPRA Sindh ePADs site or downloaded from the designated procurement portal. All proposals must comply with SPPRA procurement rules and evaluation procedures outlined in Rule 45. Pre-qualification and technical evaluation of bids shall be carried out as per standard guidelines.
Tender submission deadline is 19 June 2026 up to 02:00 PM with opening scheduled on the same date at 02:30 PM at the office of Executive Engineer (B&R), TMC Saddar on B&R Office Hiislat Ganalthara road near Mujahid Masjid Karachi. Bid documents are available from 4 June 2026 onwards through PPRA Sindh ePADs portal. In case of deadline extension, next submission date will be 8 July 2026.
