Description / Scope of Work
The Town Municipal Corporation Saddar, Karachi invites sealed cover tenders under SPPRA Rule-2010 (Amended 2020) for rehabilitation and maintenance of streets through paving block flooring, asphalt carpeting, lane marking, and trenches/patches repair across multiple locations in Karachi, Sindh. The tender encompasses sixteen distinct work packages with estimated costs ranging from approximately PKR 19.98 million to PKR 29.98 million, including projects at Nimra Masjid UC-04, Khayyaban-e-Iqbal, Khayyaban-e-Bedil, Moti Mansion, Saecd Haroon Family Park, R.C.C Ring slab, Ghosia Masjid, Anwar Mutton, Demello road, and various other strategic locations throughout Karachi. The scope includes block flooring rehabilitation, asphalt carpeting restoration, trenches and patches maintenance, lane marking application, and storm water drain de-silting with precast RCC slabs supply and fixing.
Eligible contractors, firms and parties registered under relevant provincial authorities are invited to participate. Bid security is set at five percent of the estimated amount for each work package, with tender cost fees of PKR 2,000 to PKR 3,000 per item. The bidding process follows single stage one envelope method as per SPPRA Rules 2010, requiring submission of complete technical and financial proposals in sealed envelopes.
Bid documents are available for download from PPRA Sindh ePADs website from 03-06-2026 to 17-06-2026. Tenders must be submitted through PPRA Sindh Epads portal by 18-06-2026 at 02:00 PM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 02:30 PM at the Executive Engineer B&R office, Town Municipal Corporation Saddar, Himaini Gunaittharn road near Mujibaid Masjid, Karachi. In case of rescheduling, the next submission deadline is 07-07-2026 at 02:00 PM with opening at 02:30 PM. Tender documents will remain available from 19-06-2026 to 06-07-2026 during office hours.
