Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the District Council Sheikhupura invites online tenders from engineering firms, contractors, and bidders for arrangements of Muharram ul Haram 2026 routes and Imam Bargahs across five tehsils within the district. Five separate packages are available covering Tehsil Sheikhupura (estimated cost Rs 4,198,933), Tehsil Muridke (Rs 3,792,968), Tehsil Sharaqpur Sharif (Rs 3,375,356), Tehsil Safdarabad (Rs 2,611,856), and Tehsil Ferozewala (Rs 3,646,785). The work comprises provision of searchlights with poles and power supplies, generators, manhole covers, CCTV cameras with recording capability, and stone dust for procession routes. All items are specified on rental or supply basis with detailed Bill of Quantities provided for competitive bidding. Tenders will be processed through the Punjab PPRA e-tendering system with a total project value exceeding Rs 17.6 million across all packages.
Eligible bidders must hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category codes and be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Contractors and firms are required to submit earnest money deposits at 5 percent of estimated bid cost in the form of CDR in favour of the Chief Officer District Council Sheikhupura. All bid rates must be uploaded online including 16 percent PST calculations. Original CDR certificates must be presented to the tender opening committee on the opening date; failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification. Submission of fraudulent documents such as fake CDRs will lead to disqualification, blacklisting, and referral to PPRA and PEC for appropriate action.
Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the Chief Officer District Council Sheikhupura at the office in Company Bagh, Sheikhupura, contact 056-9200129. All online bid submissions close half an hour before the tender opening, scheduled for 13 June 2026 at 12:00 PM at the District Council office. Bids will be retrieved and quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under PPRA Rule 35. Bidders are advised to carefully review the Bill of Quantities and scope of work for each tehsil before submitting rates.
