Description / Scope of Work
The Mardan Irrigation Division invites sealed competitive bids from eligible contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for various construction and irrigation development works in Mardan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The procurement encompasses multiple sub-works including construction and rehabilitation of canal patrol roads and bridges, renovation of drainage systems, uplifting of beneficiaries, installation of solar irrigation tubewells, flood protection structures in Kalpani nullah and associated agricultural lands, and dredging of critical urban waterways in Abybar. The combined estimated cost for all works exceeds Rs. 500 million, with individual sub-projects valued between Rs. 6.395 million and Rs. 52.402 million. Contractors must possess valid PEC registration with relevant category and specialization codes for Financial Year 2025-26, active KPRA registration, active FBR tax status, and valid NTN registration as mandatory requirements. All bidders must submit scanned copies of CNIC, valid PEC license, active enlistment certificate, active KPRA status, and active FBR status along with a 2 percent bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt issued in favor of XEN Irrigation Division Mardan. Bid documents are available for download from the KPPRA website and Irrigation Department website at www.irrigation.gkp.pk or through the EPADS portal. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS portal before the closing date of June 15, 2026 at 12:30 PM. The bid opening will take place at 11:00 AM on June 15, 2026 in the office of the Executive Engineer. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same office.
