Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation invites bids from eligible bidders for multiple construction and supply works at PBC HPT Rawalpindi in the Federal region. The procurement encompasses four main components: construction of a prefabricated warehouse of approximately 13,822 square feet along with allied works (restricted to prefabrication manufacturers operating in Pakistan); supply and installation of a precast boundary wall measuring 2,500 running feet with 8-foot height including angle iron and razor wires (restricted to precast manufacturers in Pakistan); execution of civil works as detailed in the bidding documents; and supply and installation of electrical items with allied works as per specifications. Bidders may apply for any one or all of these works according to their specialized field and capabilities. The bidding shall be conducted under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as per Rule 36(a) of the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Eligibility criteria for the prefabricated warehouse work require registration with FBR and active status on ATL for income and sales tax purposes, non-blacklisting from any government organization in Pakistan, financial and technical soundness with turnover exceeding 20 million rupees, minimum five years of experience in constructing prefabricated warehouses, sheds, or marquees, proof of prefabricated material manufacturing, and registration with relevant Pakistani authorities. All bids must be accompanied by bid security at 2 percent of the quoted amount (refundable) and tender processing fee of Rs. 15,000 (non-refundable) payable to the Controller (P&D) in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order. The 2 percent bid security must be submitted in a sealed envelope at bid opening.
Bids prepared according to prescribed instructions must be submitted on or before June 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM through the mode prescribed under PPRA Rules, with late bids not entertained. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the office of Controller (P&D) at PBC Headquarters, Islamabad, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Controller (P&D) office in Islamabad to clarify queries.
