Description / Scope of Work
Sealed tenders are invited for the implementation of budget allocation of various heads for the financial year 2025-2026 from registered contractors on E-PADs and the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes. The tender is issued by Municipal Committee Dijkot in Faisalabad, Punjab, with an estimated total project value of approximately 78.48 lakhs Pakistani rupees. The schemes have been prepared on the basis of MRS first bi-annual 2026 and cover three major infrastructure works: patch work at Maharram of Haram with jaloos routes limited to Municipal Committee Dijkot at an estimated cost of 25.88 lakh rupees; arrangements of Maharram of Haram 2026 including purchase of street lights and establishment of camps at an estimated cost of 20 lakh rupees; and desilting of sewer lines with machine work across various streets and roads in Municipal Committee Dijkot at an estimated cost of 28.50 lakh rupees.
All intending contractors and firms must upload the current money in the form of CDR in favor of Municipal Committee Dijkot at 5 percent of the estimated cost, with the original CDR to be submitted to the tender opening committee half hour before bid opening. Conditional tenders shall not be entertained and the method of selection will be least cost. Bidders offering rates more than 4.99 percent below the estimated cost will be required to deposit additional performance security according to PPRA Works Rules 2017. Incomplete financial bids and missing documents will be considered non-responsive and excluded from competition for the lowest evaluated bidder.
Tenders and bidding documents shall be uploaded on the EPAD dashboard by 12:00 PM on June 12, 2026, and will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in the Hall of Municipal Committee Dijkot in the presence of contractors or their representatives. All bidders are required to quote rates against each item of DNIT and indicate the total amount willingly offered to complete the work.
