UNDP Pakistan is seeking an individual contractor to develop a Biodiversity Budget Tagging Framework. This is a consultancy assignment issued under the procurement reference UNDP-PAK-01618 with a global scope. The consultant will be responsible for creating a comprehensive framework for biodiversity budget tagging, which involves analyzing and categorizing government budget allocations related to biodiversity protection and environmental conservation. The assignment is home-based with required travel to Islamabad and other provinces for consultations and validation workshops. The total contract period is six months comprising sixty working days, commencing from the date of contract signature. All travel, meeting, and logistic costs must be included in the financial proposal submitted by the consultant, with UNDP bearing only unforeseen travel expenses subject to approval.
Candidates must possess expertise in biodiversity conservation, budget analysis, and environmental policy frameworks. Interested contractors must register with the UNDP Quantum supplier portal system and access the detailed negotiation documents before submitting their proposals. The assignment aligns with sustainable procurement indicators focused on environmental protection and restoration of natural habitats.
