Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab invites tenders for the remodeling and protection of the left main bank (LMB) of Qadirabad Barrage under the Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure. This project, valued at Rs. 258,867,665/-, is to be executed within six months and is located at Qadirabad Barrage Division in Punjab. The work involves structural remodeling and protective measures for the barrage's left embankment and will be undertaken as an item rate contract on the basis of the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System (1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026) in accordance with PPRA e-Tendering System and e-Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) regulations.
Only contractors and firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with specialization code CE-04 and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) are eligible to participate. Bidders must be registered with Punjab PPRA at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and obtain valid PEC registration for 2025-26 in the specified category. The earnest money / bid security required is Rs. 12,943,383/-, which must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, made in favor of the Executive Engineer, Qadirabad Barrage Division. All intending contractors must also attach attested copies of PEC registration licenses and government receipts for professional tax and CNIC/enrollment fees.
Bidding documents are available free of cost on the EPADS website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bid security and duly completed tender forms must be uploaded on the EPADS website by 16.06.2026 up to 02:00 PM. The original CDR or Bank Guarantee along with attested PEC registration licenses must be submitted to the Chief Engineer, Faisalabad Irrigation Zone before the tender opening committee meeting.
