Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Gujar Khan invites sealed item rate tenders for patch work on the Muharram Route including installation of streetlights in Gujar Khan City, Punjab. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 4,945,600 and is to be executed according to the TS rates as per MRS 2nd Biannual 2025 and market rates. The scope includes road patching and streetlight installation works along the Muharram route to improve municipal infrastructure and public lighting in the city. Bids will be submitted in single stage single envelope format through the EPADs portal.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in category C-6 and above, with active registration and certificates for income tax and sales tax from relevant authorities. Bid security (earnest money) of Rs. 247,280, representing 5% of the estimated cost, must be deposited. If the quoted rates of the lowest bidder are equal to or less than 5% of the estimated cost, additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% (including the CDR deposited at tender time) must be provided within 15 days of Letter of Acceptance as per works rules 2017.
Bid documents are available on EPADs and the PPRA website. Hard copies may be purchased from the MO (I) Branch after paying a printing fee of Rs. 5,000. Bids must be submitted on EPADs from the publication date until 22-06-2026 at 01:00 PM. All received bids will be opened on the same date at 01:30 PM at the Municipal Committee Gujar Khan office in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives. Mandatory supporting documents including PEC license and tax registration certificates may also be presented in hard form at bid opening. Bidders are advised to upload bids well before the submission deadline.
