Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highway Department invites sealed bids from qualified engineering firms and contractors for the provision of solar lights at Tibba and Garha Moor under the PPRA E-Tendering System. This project is located in the Vehari Highway Division, Punjab province, with an estimated cost of PKR 49,500 and a completion period of one month. The work involves installation of solar lighting infrastructure at two specified locations. Bidders must submit their proposals through the Punjab PPRA e-procurement portal at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk with a tender reference number SE HC Multan No.2325/DB dated 02-06-2026.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council holding valid renewed PEC License for the Financial Year 2025-26 with codes CE-01, CE-10, BC-01, EE-06, EE11(iii), EE11(iv), EE11(vv), or EE11(xxv). All bidders must register on the Punjab PPRA website and submit earnest money only in the form of Computerised Demand Draft (CDR) equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost in favour of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Vehari. The original CDR along with an attested copy of the PEC License must be physically submitted by 29-06-2026 up to 12:30 PM at the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle Multan for verification; failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive.
Bid documents may be obtained from the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. Bids must be uploaded electronically on the PPRA website before the closing date. The tender will be opened on 29-06-2026 at 14:00 Hours (2:00 PM) at the Office of the Commissioner Multan, where responsive bids will be downloaded and rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. The successful bidder will be required to submit a performance guarantee of 10 percent of the contract amount within 15 days of receiving the offer letter.
