National Telecommunication Corporation invites sealed bids for the disposal of spare and unserviceable cables stored at Main Store NTC Rawalpindi through open auction on an as-is-where-is basis. This procurement is managed by the Office of Director NTC Rawalpindi in Sector I-12, Islamabad, with the auction venue located at Board Room NTC Regional Headquarters Building, F-5/1, Islamabad. The spare and unserviceable store items are listed in Annex-A and will be sold to qualified bidders meeting specified criteria. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct necessary survey and inspection of the cables during office hours at the Office of AE (Stores) NTC, Near Social Security Hospital, IJP Road, Islamabad, before submitting their bids.
Eligibility is open to all contractors, firms, and companies registered with relevant tax authorities of Pakistan for NTN and GST registration. Bidders must submit certificates on legal stamp paper certifying that the firm is not blacklisted by any government organization in Pakistan, is not involved in litigation with any government organization, and has no linkage with India or Israel regarding ownership, sponsoring, or financing. A bid security of ten percent of the total sealed bid value, including all applicable taxes, must be deposited as earnest money in the form of a pay order or bank draft made payable to the Director NTC Rawalpindi. Bids found to have bid security less than ten percent may be rejected, though bidders may deposit the deficiency on the spot at the discretion of the Auction Committee.
Sealed auction bids will be received on Thursday, 9th July 2026 until 1100 hours, with opening scheduled for 1130 hours the same day at Board Room NTC Regional Headquarters Building, F-5/1, Islamabad. Only one authorized representative per firm with attached CNIC copy is permitted to attend. The top five bidders will advance to the open auction stage as the second phase, conducted on the same day with bidding proceeding on the highest quoted bid basis. Additional payment details, including deposit of twenty-five percent of the bid difference within two working days and the remaining balance due upon contract award, apply to successful bidders.
