Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL) under the Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan, invites bids for five major infrastructure development projects in Taluka City, Hyderabad, Sindh, valued between Rs. 73.7 million and Rs. 420.8 million. The scope includes upgradation of Pretabad Water Treatment Plant from 8 MGD to 12 MGD capacity (civil works package estimated at Rs. 420.75 million), electrical and mechanical allied works for the water treatment facility (Rs. 283.44 million), provision and fixing of solar lights at various streets and solarization of schools and colleges (Rs. 73.70 million), providing and laying a 20-inch diameter main water supply line from Pretabad Filter Plant to commanding areas (Rs. 373.74 million), and construction and upgradation of various roads, streets, storm water drains, and water supply lines across Taluka City (Rs. 199.45 million). These projects are funded under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) and aim to enhance water infrastructure and renewable energy adoption in the region.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate category and specialized field, valid Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) registration, and valid Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax authority registration. Bid security requirements range from Rs. 2.25 million to Rs. 12.65 million depending on the contract package. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS 2.0 platform, and bidders are required to pay a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 payable to PIDCL in the form of a Pay Order or Call Deposit.
Bidding documents are available online at https://eprocure.gov.pk/ for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000. All bids must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS 2.0) by 09:00 AM on 30 July 2026. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 17 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, and bid opening will take place on 30 July 2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the General Manager (Engineering), PIDCL, Bahria Complex IV, 6th Floor, Extension Block, Gizri, Karachi.
