Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Agriculture Gilgit-Region invites quotations from experienced firms and suppliers for procurement of four categories of goods and services: repair and maintenance of vehicles, transport and agricultural machinery; office stationery; generic consumable materials, inputs and agricultural tools and implements; and office equipment, office supplies, miscellaneous items, equipment repair and accessories. The procurement is issued under reference DA-Dev-3(25)/2025 and covers both regular and development budget allocations. Tender documents detailing item specifications, services, terms and conditions are available from the Directorate of Agriculture at KIU Road, Gilgit during office hours up to 17 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. The tender scope encompasses routine and ongoing supply requirements for agricultural operations across the Gilgit region of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Bidders must submit sealed tender documents accompanied by a 3 percent call deposit receipt (CDR) as bid security, calculated on the total offered price and payable to the Director Agriculture Gilgit-Region. The procurement will follow a single-stage two-envelope procedure in which financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened. Quotations containing unrealistic or unreasonably high or low rates compared with prevailing market rates will be rejected. The approved tender rates will remain valid until 30 June 2027. Quantities of items may be enhanced, reduced or deleted subject to availability of funds. All bidders must have relevant commercial and technical experience in supplying the specified categories.
Sealed tender documents must reach the office of the Director Agriculture on or before 17 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. Tenders will be publicly opened on the same date at 10:30 AM. Tender documents may be obtained from the Directorate of Agriculture KIU Road Gilgit during office hours. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in accordance with Gilgit-Baltistan PPRA Rules.
