For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
WAPDA is procuring three distinct critical infrastructure items (battery cells, power cables, spare parts) for Jinnah Hydel Power Station under its Decade of Dams initiative.
The procurement is portfolio-based rather than single-item, suggesting moderate aggregate value across three EPADS references. Two to three-month execution windows indicate standard lead times for industrial components. This is a one-off maintenance/operational refresh funded from reserved budgets, not a recurring contract. Bidders should expect LCBS competition—cost will dominate technical evaluation.
Who can bid: Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 before 17 August 2026 closing. Bid Security required as Call Deposit or Bid Security Declaration (amount not specified in summary). Typically, suppliers must hold active NTN, SECP registration if applicable to goods category, and no blacklisting. No specific PEC category stated; goods procurement may not require PEC.
