Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Chief Inspector of Treasuries & Accounts, Punjab, Lahore, invites sealed bids for the procurement of goods during the financial year 2026-27 with a total estimated cost of 5.6 million Pakistani Rupees. The tender encompasses four lots: purchase of hardware (estimated 0.8 million), IT equipment (1.2 million), plant and machinery (1.8 million), and furniture and fixtures (1.8 million). This procurement is conducted in Lahore, Punjab, under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, following a single stage two envelope bidding process. The scope includes various capital assets required by the finance department to support operational and administrative functions.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed and registered firms engaged in trading with taxing authorities including FBR and PRA. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to three percent of the estimated cost in the form of certified demand draft, bank guarantee, or pay order made payable to the Chief Inspector of Treasuries & Accounts, Punjab, Lahore. Successful bidders must furnish a performance guarantee equal to five percent of the total contract value, which shall be refunded upon successful completion of the contract. All products must comply with PSQCA standards and other applicable laws and regulations.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and http://ep.punjab.gov.pk free of charge. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before August 20, 2026 by 11:00 AM to the office address provided. Technical proposals shall be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives, while financial proposals remain sealed until technical evaluation is completed.
