HIT is procuring four robot gripper units for import delivery within four months of contract signature.
This is a single-envelope technical and financial bid competition open to manufacturers and authorized distributors. Bidders must demonstrate three years of prior experience with government contracts and provide comprehensive financial documentation. The Rs 2000 postal order submission fee suggests a moderately sized procurement. The FOR (import) basis indicates the supplier bears all costs to the Pakistani port, making cost control and international logistics expertise critical competitive factors.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with NTN and Sales Tax authorities; hold or have held contracts with government or semi-government organizations within the last three financial years; provide audited financial statements and bank statements; possess valid trade links with OEM if acting as distributor or agent; and hold a valid non-blacklist certificate from any government organization. Typically, for imported equipment procurement, bidders must also demonstrate technical competence, warehousing capability and after-sales support infrastructure.
