Open tender notice inviting sealed bids from reputable manufacturers and stockists for the supply of servo motors on FOR (Free on Rail) basis. The tender is issued by federal procurement authorities in Islamabad and referenced as tender number 01/26-27. Bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax Department and maintain their own office equipped with telephone and fax facilities. The tender fee is Rs. 2,000, payable by bank draft only in the name of the Principal Accounts Officer. Eligibility is restricted to manufacturers and stockists registered with the Sales Tax Department who possess established office infrastructure with communication facilities. Each tender submission must include 2% earnest money calculated on the quoted price; bids lacking this security will be automatically rejected. Tender documents will not be issued to firms with a history of non-supply against previous orders. Tender validity must be a minimum of 60 days from the opening date, and submissions containing cutting or overwriting will be summarily rejected. The competent authority reserves absolute discretion to accept or reject any or all quotations.
Specifications and detailed terms and conditions are available upon written request on company letterhead accompanied by the tender fee bank draft payable to the Principal Accounts Officer at P.O. Box 1637, Islamabad. Tender documents may be obtained by post, provided the original bank draft is received by the office on or before the documents' issuance deadline; however, postal delays remain the bidder's responsibility. Sealed envelopes must be clearly marked with the tender number and due date. Tenders arriving after the opening date will not be entertained.
