LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for two drainage infrastructure development works. The first contract involves construction of a drainage system and streets in Village Dhupal, UC Mandala Tehsil and District Gujrat, estimated at 16.583 million rupees with 5% earnest money requirement of 829,150 rupees. The second contract covers construction of drainage system and streets in UC Tanda Tehsil and District Gujrat, valued at 18 million rupees with 900,000 rupees earnest money. Both projects are located in Punjab province and aim to improve water management and accessibility in rural communities. Contractors and firms must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 and must fulfill all eligibility requirements prescribed in the bidding documents. The procurement shall be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended) through the Punjab e-Procurement System, with bids to be opened electronically on the same day at 01:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. Bidders shall submit Bid Security equal to 5% of estimated cost only through Digital Bank Guarantee via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Upon acceptance, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Security equal to 10% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760 in accordance with Rule 56 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Bidders who bid more than 30% below the estimated rate must submit detailed rate analysis before work order issuance; failure to do so will result in tender cancellation and forfeiture of earnest money.
