Description / Scope of Work
WASA Chakwal invites sealed bids for providing and laying of RCC sewer pipe 9 inch diameter with allied works at Mohallah Sargojra Sharqi in Chakwal City, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 8,49,248 and falls under single stage single envelope procurement procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The contract scope covers sewer infrastructure installation works in Chakwal district with contributions expected from contractors registered on E-PADS for the financial year 2026-27. The bidding is open to all eligible registered contractors.
Eligible bidders must be registered on E-PADS for the year 2026-27 and hold valid registration with relevant authorities. A bid security of Rs. 42,462 (5% of estimated cost) is required from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of WASA Chakwal. If the lowest bid is equal to or less than 5% of estimated cost, additional performance security from 5% to 10% including bid security must be deposited within 15 days of notice issuance. All bids must be accompanied by item-wise clearly readable rates; incomplete, ambiguous, or unfilled bids will be rejected.
Bid documents are available for free download from https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. Sealed bids must be submitted through the E-P System portal by 11:00 AM PST on 30 September 2026. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:30 AM PST the same day at WASA Chakwal office. The successful bidder must execute a formal agreement on government-specified stamp paper within seven days of acceptance letter issuance.
