Description / Scope of Work
The Water Management & Irrigation Department of Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders for the construction of a water channel at Gindai and a water tank at Gindai Spring under the Annual Development Programme 2025-26. The project is valued at PKR 4,752,034 and is located in District Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan. This is a single-stage, one-envelope tender procedure open to eligible firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C6 and above with code CE-04, with valid registration up to 30 June 2027. The project represents a medium-scale water infrastructure development aimed at improving water supply and irrigation in the region.
Eligible bidders must hold valid PEC registration in the relevant code (C6 & above, CE-04) valid until 30 June 2027, along with the current renewal fee slip for 2026-27. Bidders are required to submit their CNIC, no sick scheme and no litigation certificates, and must provide bid security of PKR 142,561 (3% of estimated cost) in the form of a CDR from any scheduled bank of Pakistan. In the event that quoted rates fall below 10% of the estimated cost, an additional performance guarantee of 50% of the differential amount must be provided as CDR or bank guarantee.
Interested bidders can obtain complete bidding documents from the office of the Deputy Director, Water Management & Irrigation Department, District Ghizer, upon submission of a written application, original documents, and payment of the bidding document cost of PKR 4,000 through Treasury Challan. The tender closing date and time is 08 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Deputy Director in the presence of attending bidders. All bid securities will be retained until tender acceptance and subsequently refunded. Late submissions will not be accepted.
