Description / Scope of Work
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro invites tenders for the procurement of equipment for Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security Labs. The estimated cost of this equipment procurement is Rs. 144.490 million with a completion period of four months. The tender is being floated under National Competitive Bidding using a Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure (Technical and Financial Proposals), and bids must be submitted electronically through SPPRA ePADS portal by 13 October 2026 at 10:30 AM. The project location is MUET, Jamshoro in Sindh province.
Eligible participants must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue as Active Tax Payers for income tax and sales tax in case of goods procurement, registration with the Sindh Revenue Board for works and services, and Pakistan Engineering Council registration as applicable. Participants must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency. The bid security (earnest money) required is 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 7.2245 million. A tender fee of Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable) must be paid to obtain the detailed e-bidding documents.
Bidding documents are available on the SPPRA ePADS platform at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/ and the university website https://www.muet.edu.pk/tender-notices. The original bid security in the form of call deposit, pay orders, demand drafts, or bank guarantee must be submitted to the Deputy Director (Procurement), MUET, Jamshoro prior to bid opening.
