Description / Scope of Work
Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology (PAF-IAST) located in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids from interested and registered firms for the purchase of next-generation firewalls. The bidder must be duly recognized in Pakistan and registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as a Manufacturer's Distributor or Dealer with authorization from the manufacturer or principal for this specific tender. The procurement aims to enhance the institute's technological infrastructure with modern cybersecurity solutions to meet contemporary networking requirements. Qualified bidders must possess sufficient financial, technical, and human resources to execute the complete assignment within the prescribed timeline upon finalization of contract with PAF-IAST.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and maintain valid manufacturer's or principal's authorization status specific to this tender. An earnest money deposit amounting to 2 percent of the bid value must be submitted in the shape of CDR (Certified Development Record) to the Procurement Office at PAF-IAST, Haripur, before the online submission deadline. The tender fee of Rs 1000 is also required. Tender execution will be conducted in accordance with KPPRA Rule 6(2)b "Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure" ensuring transparent and competitive procurement practices.
Bid documents containing detailed instructions, definitions, background of the project, general terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria are available electronically from the university website at http://www.paf-iast.edu.pk and from the EPADS-KPPRA website at www.kp.eprocure.gov.pk free of cost. Bids must be submitted using EPADS on or before Tuesday 23 June 2026 at 11:00 AM through electronic means only; manual bids will not be accepted. Electronic bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Procurement Committee and bidders who wish to participate.
