Description / Scope of Work
Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed e-bids from reputable security companies registered on EPADS v2.0 and licensed by the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior Islamabad for provision of armed security guards services. The tender covers hiring security personnel for a period of two years, extendable on satisfactory performance, across multiple GEPCO installations and offices located in Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin and Bhimber in Punjab. The contract quantity specified is 600 security guards with an estimated bid opening value of PKR 5,000,000.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 on or before June 30, 2026 and hold valid security company licenses from the Government of Pakistan. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security (guarantee) of PKR 5,000,000 in the form of a pay order, banker's cheque or call deposit in the name of Chief Executive Officer GEPCO. The bid validity period is 120 days, with the bid guarantee remaining valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity date. GEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons as per PPRA Rules 2004.
Bidding documents are available on the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM, and e-bids will be opened on the same date at Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Manual bid submissions will not be entertained. The bid opening meeting will be held on June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:30 AM at the committee room or office of the Manager (MM) GEPCO Head Quarters Gujranwala.
